Latin-X: HIV On the Border

This was the pilot of an ongoing series called “Latin-X”, hosted by Paola Ramos, which aimed to cover underreported stories about latino communities in the US. Later episodes would cover meth use in California, trans asylum seekers, and the growing movement of latinos within the Proud Boys. This episode focused on the LGBTQ+ community in Brownsville to see why social stigma was causing an a rise in HIV infections among young, LGBT latinos.
